Dall’esperienza maturata dal padre Luciano Bullo a partire dalla fine degli anni ’70, lavorando a contatto con esperti restauratori dell’epoca (esperienza poi trasmessa alla moglie Michela), viene fondata nel 1984 a Murano, la ditta Vetrate a Piombo Artistiche. La ditta è specializzata nella produzione e nel restauro di vetrate tradizionali veneziane e vanta, fin dai primi anni, importanti interventi di restauro tra cui a Venezia: la chiesa del Redentore, la Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, il Palazzo Ducale, la Biblioteca Marciana. A Murano: la Basilica di San Donato, la Chiesa di San Pietro Martire, la chiesa di Santa Maria degli Angeli, etc. Le numerose esperienze nell’ambito delle vetrate tradizionali veneziane hanno permesso, negli anni, di diventare una delle ditte più importanti del settore. Stefano Bullo, figlio di Luciano e Michela, si inserisce fin da ragazzo nell’attività di famiglia disegnando i progetti per le vetrate. Conclusi gli studi all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia e dopo avere intrapreso la carriera di Artista Visivo, Stefano decide di proseguire il percorso artigianale di famiglia assieme a quello di artista. Da ottobre 2014 rileva l’attività e la ditta cambia così nome in VETRATE ARTISTICHE MURANO di Bullo Stefano.

Oggi, il laboratorio, ricco di conoscenze consolidate di restauro e produzione di vetrate tradizionali, si specializza e si distingue per la realizzazione di nuovi progetti e collaborazioni artistiche. Il vetro di Murano è il punto cardine di ogni lavoro che permette di rendere le produzioni uniche del suo genere.
