This year, the Teatro La Fenice Foundation has dedicated the 28th edition of the prize “A Life in Music” to the Russian conductor Yuri Temirkanov.

The distinguished Director, for 27 years the Orchestra St. Petersburg Philharmonic, was donated by the hands of the Director Fortunato Ortombina, on 2 April 2015, at the Apollonian Halls, a magnificent flat crystal embellished with silver flakes and hand decorated in gold leaf.

The precious dish made by a company of the dealership brand Vetro Artistico Murano is the result result of successful division of functions a few years ago between the Promovetro Consortium and the Fondazione Teatro La Fenice, including glass art and excellence in the field of music.
