Today Tuesday 18 June starts the Salone Nautico of Venice 2019 with the opening ceremony. It is the International yearly exhibition devoted to boating and seat of the Exhibition is the Arsenale, an incomparable, historical context in the centre of Venice, made of a water basin (50.000 sq metres) and pavilions, with approximately 6.000 sq metres of space.
From 19 to 23 June the Venice Boat Show will be open to the public, the perfect place to discover 50 boats from 15 to 50 meters, as well as 100 exhibitors of pleasure boats and boat accessories.
The Consorzio Promovetro Murano is also present at the Venice Boat Show with the aim of promoting Murano glass and making it known to a target linked to the luxury sector. The public can admire a selection of glass works made by thirteen companies, unique objects skillfully shaped by the hands of the master glassmakers and artisans of Murano.
The exhibition is located inside the nappa 89 of the Tese delle Nappe.
The exhibition has a strong reference to the themes of the sea and the lagoon and represents the art of 13 of the best glass furnaces and laboratories of Murano:
