Murano crosses the finish line of the 33rd Huawei Venicemarathon, the famous marathon which crosses our territory from Stra to Venice. The first three male winners and the first three female winners have received Murano glass prizes labelled with the Vetro Artistico® Murano trademark which certifies their origin.
Offered by the Consorzio Promovetro Murano, the precious gifts are made by the skilled hands of the glass master Simone Cenedese of the homonymous company of the Consorzio Promovetro Murano. Simone Cenedese glass furnace is a concessionary company of the Vetro Artistico® Murano trademark.
The trophies are the result of a long collaboration between the organizers of the famous marathon and the Consorzio Promovetro Murano, manager of the Vetro Artistico® Murano trademark. The cooperation is a winning combination that aims to promote the excellence of Venetian craftsmanship and to bring Murano glass on the stage of one of the most important international sporting events which take places in Venice.
The original awards are of different sizes and colors, and have been made following the ancient technique of glass blowing. They’re unique objects full of transparencies and colors, created thanks to the craftsmanship that has been handed from one generation to another, from father to son.
