Last Thursday afternoon, during the celebration for the Carnival of Venice 2014, Promovetro gave a special gift to the famous Korean Rock Pop singer Kim Jang-Hoon. The king of “Korean Pop” performed with dancers and Noreum Machi musicians at the “Gran Teatro” in St. Mark Square.
Consorzio Promovetro donated a typical Murano glass red goblet, decorate with gold leaf and also a magnificent red bowl, destined to the President of Korea. All artworks were characterised by the Vetro Artistico® Murano trademark.
The event was called Arirang Fantasia, and was about the ancient traditional Korean song Airang, which has been proclaimed world cultural heritage by Unesco in 2012.
The event was sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Culture; Kim Jang-Hoon has the role of permanent Ambassador of Korean culture.
